But if you’re looking for a low priced PC, the advantage definitely goes to Windows. The most popular devices Apple makes aren’t actually computers, but are iPhones, iPads and iPods. Obviously if you are a Mac user, it’s really easy to connect these devices to your computers. When your computer runs a Mac OS, you’ll have access to the free iCloud service and that service makes it super easy to keep your computer synced to your iPhone, your iPod and your iPad. So when you want to download things like videos and other content on your external devices, it’s easy to then transfer them to your primary computer. Obviously, this is only a major benefit if you enjoy using Apple’s mobile devices. If you have a PC, it’s generally much harder to sync them with other devices such as mobile phones.

When it comes to the design and appearance of your computer, you may have your own preferences. However, many people prefer the look of a Mac over most PCs. High functioning products that looked nice, as well as being ergonomic, have always been the goal of Apple, and that is where their design efforts have been focused. This, of course, is part of why Apple products are more expensive than most other brands. Today, many Windows-based computers are also nicely designed, so you can shop around and see what appeals to you. The look and design of a computer may not be the most important factor, but it’s something you should consider.

A Mac or a reasonably good PC will serve your needs for most tasks you will do each day, such as watching videos, chatting, running typical programs, and whatever else.
